We've ruined the careers of about six managers in a row!
Which is one of the reasons I'm sceptical that if we just get In whoever is the best person available this month and we'll definitely improve
No we haven't, 6 managers have ruined their own careers by failing in the biggest job they'll ever have.

Agree totally, the club keep getting the wrong manager with the possible exception of Garde who was treated disgracefully.
When Bruce was bleating on about his 2 promotions Did he mention that he had 13 points after 7 games ?
When a manager goes down the path of "who could do better than me" he's already started packing his boxes. He knows it's over.

I'm surprised his philosophy didn't prevent him from accepting the job in the first place. What was the point in sacking RDM after only 10 games after all the upheaval of the previous few years? Maybe chopping and changing is alright as long as S. Bruce isn't chopped or changed.
Had a look at the three times he took a team up from this league to see where they were in the table after 7 games:
SHA 06/07, 16 points from 7 games.
Hull 12/13, 13 points from 7 games.
Hull 15/16, 13 points from 7 games.
So we are 6 points behind what he averaged at Hull.
When you think in those two seasons the first they only got automatic promotion on the final day and the second season they went up through the play offs I'd say our hopes of automatic promotion under him are zilch and our play off ambitions are going the same way.
It is very reminiscent of the last days of Sherwood. All very Bart Simpson.
Absolutely agree with the Sherwood comparison.
The warning signs for all of us should have been how he waxed lyrical about waiting 20 years for an opportunity like this. It's proven why he's waited this long because he isn't good enough. The job is too big for him. I want a manager who embraces this challenge as opposed to be buried by the weight of it. Someone who is privileged to be our manager but it's still a job. For me in recent years only Houllier came across that way and prior to that MON. Everyone else was sunk by the pressure of it all.
I'd love someone in the media to have the nuts, and/or knowledge, to quiz him properly on his record since he arrived.
It doesn't take much knowledge though. We were favourites for the title at the start of the season, we've got the most expensive squad in Division 2 history and the club had stated its ambition is to get promoted. It's blindingly obvious he's failing against this criteria. I can only assume he's got a lot of mates in the press.

Is it to do with mates? I just don't think anyone is interested in us.

Matt most of the time you make some sense but not here....

I doubt many of them can be arsed to check our full record under him, is the kind of thing I mean, these kind of stats
2 wins in 13, near relegation form in 2017, mid midtable form since he arrived, currently 1 place higher in the table than we were the day he arrived. His 42 league games have produced 59 points and 44 league goals. However you want to look at it, he's been a total failure.
He'll be managing at the sty before the season is over.

Quite possible. Let's just hope that means John Terry isn't managing us.

I suppose my point is though that they don't need to. A cursory glance at the table against the factors listed above show he's failing miserably. The fact he did so for most of last year too just shows that he hasn't got an excuse.
