It's a real starfucking appointment, but I guess he has more experience than Lampard? Goodness me what chaos.

I don't think it's chaos. It's decisive action by our new owners.

Same here. Bruce failed with huge resources so would almost certainly fail again. That’s the sort of stability we don’t need.

Bloody hell!  Do you know why/what changed as it seemed that no change was the call last week?

I guess he might turn out to be great but it’s a massive gamble at a time we should be aiming for stability. It is the lack of experience both as a manager and of any football other than top level that bother me. If it is true then we have to hope that his coaching staff are not similar starstruck appointments.

Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of good chaos against bad stability, but this summer has hardly been straightforward and orderly has it?

Yeah, Chelts said no chance it was happening just the other day.

Maybe we'll get a Thierry and Terry double act.

Whatever we think about Bruce.  To even contemplate replacing him with Henry in this league makes no sense on any football level.

This.

A pure fanboy appointment.

If it happens then Bould as number 2.

Is the chat on the past couple of pages just people catching up with the Daily Star story, or has something actually happened this morning ?

That change of words would have made Jamiroquai's track more interesting.
