I know a journalist who would verbally tear Bruce a new one.  It would be a mismatch.  Like setting a pit bull on a rabbit.

Well we're currently 20th before todays game and we'll go up to the heady heights of 15th if we get a win...what's there not to get excited about?!

Bruce has just been asked on sky sports is it nice to have someone like Kodija back?

his reply " When you have created the chances we have you would hope someone of his calibre will put some of them away".

One issue has been resolved in any case; he has not "lost the dressing room".

Which is true. Brentford and Bristol apart we've missed absolute sitters in virtually every game this season

Fingers crossed it's the start of something and not another false dawn like the Norwich game. Knowing Bruce though he'll come up with another weird formation and drop Davis and Albert next game.

Good job to be fair to him. Selection good, hell he even made decent changes to see out the game.

He's bought himself some more time. Not all that much mind. Another mind numbing performance on Tuesday and the knives will be out

He gets a free pass on Tuesday as it's a cup game.

Those religious correspondents can be right bastards when they are riled.
