What makes me laugh is the players he’s saying are embarrassing are mostly the ones he signed

“Sometimes you get a beat in a cup tie when it does not go your way,”

“But when you go about it like it is a testimonial or a friendly game then it upsets me to the hilt. Actually, it makes me feel physically sick.

“At this moment I have to take the rap because ultimately it is my team.

“But it will be a shadow of the team which plays on Saturday.

“I would have thought the people who have been knocking down my door in recent weeks would have made a better fist of it than what I have just witnessed tonight.

“You could use the word 'embarrassing'.

“We got away with it against Yeovil a few weeks ago.

“Some of them have been knocking down my door now for the past few weeks.

“All I can say is that we got what we deserved which was nothing.

“The way we played, the way we went about it, was chalk and cheese from what we witnessed on Saturday and the week before that.

“I take the responsibility because I changed the whole team because of the ones who have been knocking down my door - there was their opportunity.

“But they haven’t grasped it. I can’t stand here and defend them.

"I’m flabbergasted at what I’ve seen."

What I’d like to know is who keeps fixing the doors that are always getting knocked down?

And now it is fixed don’t let it hit your arse on the way out Steve

Not going to comment really.. If people can't see why he needs to go now, then they never will imo.

He won't get potted for losing in a cup which is now (sadly) not near the top of our list of priorities.

He will get booted out if he fails to add a centre half by the end of the week and we see much more of this bilge.

As soon as October, if I was a betting man.

So he watched these players underperform and let him down but only subbed one of them. That’s a bit like calling yourself a twat.

Even if it was mostly back up players they are all mates. This won’t go down well with the others. When you go and blast your players you’re on the fast track to losing the team, if he’s not done so already. They need a new face. He needs a new place.

The sobering thought barring the managers ineptitude is that until we were saved by the new owners that would have been pretty much the team for this year! Doesn’t bear thinking about does it?

Even Gary Gardner is looking good under a new Manager at Blose! Bruce can't get the best out of his players with his tactics and coaching.

4 easy  ish games without a win. Awful at the back. No logic behind his team selections. Like watching the end of Oleary or Sherwood all over again. When you think it has taken Bielsa 2 and half months to get Leeds playing attacking football, three years, massive wages and we have utter dross. We have a squad that can play football, and a manager who can't.

Dean Smith is my pick, I think he would have us playing some really good football. If not him then maybe Garcia, or I would be sorely tempted to give it to Terry with an experienced number 2.

People have said that the players like him and play for him. I have often wondered whether they like him because he is just easy to play for and not demanding.

Last night was certainly anaemic, but it will only be when that low level, and itbwas really low level, starts cropping up in the league that I think he may find himself in hotter water.

I don't agree with some of the accusations levelled at Bruce on here and agreed with the decision to retain him, influenced by the late nature of the takeover. However, following Saturday's result I believed him to be under the most pressure since he took the job given the next two league games, I foolishly discounted Burton as an issue.

He's put himself under this yoke, nobody else and if he comes through it he will deserve praise but I fear the amount of people who believe that he will is dwindling fast, and if two of them are the owners then he really is fucked.

It showed during his post match interview that he took some stick from the away support. They're as loyal and patient as they come but once they turn, it normally means one thing unfortunately.
