Anything but Bruce and his anti football.
Roll the dice.

Well, I mean, this all makes sense, is fine, isn't a problem. I have no idea what I'd prefer, though tbh I'm a sucker for all newfangled shiny-looking novelties so obviously favour Henry for this reason, but literally who the hell knows.

I have no idea what Henry would bring. But if he was going to start the Championship is a good level to start at. I know what I’ll be getting with Bruce next season and aside from the odd out of the blue dazzling display, the rest will be dull and turgid.

The ability to attract players we wouldn’t otherwise be in the market for?

How about Henry with Wenger as mentor?

Why Henry? Of all the people in the World what has he done in management to suggest he should be chosen?

It would basically be our version of Blose's Zola appointment but with fewer qualifications for the job.

It amazes me how easily some are impressed just because a big name is linked with us, regardless of his credentials. For such a big club, some of our supporters can be very small-time. Witness the abysmal "John Terry, he's won more than you" cringefest for another example.

I'm far from being for Henry, as I agree that he might be to inexperienced for the role, but, I'm all for thinking outside the box, so to speak.
Who, if SB left, would you, realistically, go for?
I’m not sure about Henry either, somebody mentioned Frank Lampard too before he went to Derby. But all these coaches have got to start somewhere, even Bruce was inexperienced once.  I think Henry and Lampard will be great coaches so why not give someone like that a break?

Henry having a gentle word with Grealish might seem quite attractive...

Bould in as Number 2 is the rumour isn't it? He has plenty of experience...

We want the Bright Future now though. Not relics from the past.

Bould staying on at arsenal I thought ?

With Henry there will be no Dean Marney signings or any Glen Whelans

It's a daft rumour and I'm glad it's not happening.

Is that Star journo on Twitter? He'll look a bit silly if he's wrong.
I'd accept Henry if it convinced Jack to stay. Otherwise, I'll be rooting for Steve when he storms into the meeting with his new bosses, throws a copy of the Daily Star on the beautiful mahogany board table we have and eschews introducing himself for a plain and simple "So I suppose it's off wit' me 'ead, is it?".

Possibly. In the Championship certainly would help. I would know this that he would want to play a better brand of football than the current Luddite we have in charge.

Important to note as we dismiss managers without a lot of experience we are entering our third season in the Championship. The current manager for all his promotion and lower league pedigree has failed twice.

I can only think that the players he'd attract that wouldn't come otherwise would be those with big fees and/or wages.
