couldn't agree more - my only point was that he will always be what he is. We will go on a winning run then uck up. wash and repeat. He needs to go but I think it's just too early for the board to have the courage to do it.

He also prevented us from doing a Newcastle.

Well at least he's shown Pulis's Boro a clean pair of heels again this season.

I haven't said it for a few days and I don't want the club thinking after a 2 week break views towards Bruce have softened. Bruce and his backroom team out!!
I am fed up of the predictability of Bruce getting a few positive results, then going on a run of winless games, then hearing Bruce's lame excuses and the whole cycle starts again. In the meanwhile Aston Villa are standing still. To make things worse he has mismanaged our whole defence. Bruce out please new owners and new CEO!

just re read the first 2/3 pages from this thread which was about 18 months ago

honestly nothing has changed, many of the posts are identical to the ones now

when people say that 'rinse and repeat' thing it does my head in, but its absolutely spot on

You prompted me to do the same and it's absolutely alarming. You could cut and paste those comments to today and no one would know. It's deja vu all over again, it's groundhog day. How has he got the nerve to churn out the same incompetent crap EIGHTEEN months later? And how are some people still bloody fooled by it? He's a busted flush. His heydays were at Wigan. That's his level -fighting for the underdog, playing the victim- and that's where he belongs not at a club with the stature of Aston Villa.

Here is the tweet.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is set for talks with Aston Villa after Steve Bruce’s poor start to the season. #AVFC #twitterblades #sufc #villa

Looks like typical twitter twaddle.

Gotti, isn't he some kind of Mafiosi Godfather?  I reckon we could do with his sort to light some kind of fire under the arses of our lot.

I like Chris Wilder though, it has to be said. Wouldn't be unhappy to see him as manager.
