Wolves are above us because they have better players than us. Cardiff and Fulham are above us because they have better managers than us.

Yeah fairly good assessment, although Nuno is probably a better manager too.

Bruce's biggest failing is his inability to change a game once things aren't going out way. He genuinely doesn't seem to know what to do. I don't fancy our chances in the play-offs.

My biggest worry with Bruce is that he appears to genuinely believe that chucking more and more strikers on is the way to chase a game, neglecting to notice they don't have anyone to supply them with chances. You'd think after seeing it fail repeatedly he'd realise it doesn't work.

He still doesn't seem to have fully grasped that lumping it high towards Hogan doesn't work.

Lumping it long to any striker with no midfield left to play off won't work with anyone , but in case of Hogan it baffles me Bruce brought him when his ''tactics'' are not suitable to that type of striker.

The last 3 games have really shown Bruce up to me we have been found out , team relize we don't create through the middle so stop Snodgrass and Adomah and we are toothless in attack. We seem to want to play counter attack but we lack pace through most of the side. The not left footed left side is also not not working very well.Bruce is so reliant on Snodgrass/Adomah and Grelaish  to create he leaves them on and empties midfield and its not working in the slightest particularly in  Grealish case who ends up coming far too deep to get the ball.

If we go up it will be from individual brilliance rather than a solid game plan, as I recall didn't Hull go up from a screamer from Diame in the final ..

As for Terry I can't believe a player who has played under genuinely talented mangers would want another season with this dinosaur

Hull went up because they won enough games to finish in the play offs over the course of the season. If one goal wins a play off final, then what's the problem?

At this rate, we'll be lucky to make the play-offs. How things have changed since that result against the Dingles.

We need one win.

We're still 8 points clear of Derby and Boro.

‘One win’ to achieve what?
We are fucking shit and will stop in this division. You playoff merchants are getting to be a pain.

Just to clarify, is a 'playoff merchant' someone who thinks we will reach the playoffs, someone who wants us to reach the playoffs or someone who has accepted we can only reach the playoffs? Just checking so I can work out if I'm a 'playoff merchant' too.

My meaning is someone who has rested on their laurels, like Bruce, instead of going for the kill when we were in a position to do so. We are not guaranteed the playoffs and I don’t know why anyone might think that one win would be enough. Even if it was enough, what would that sort of form say about our chances of success in the playoffs?

If we win the playoffs it will feel better than winning the league.
If.

Money spent, style of play, tactics and league position. Bruce has done a poor job.
I hope he's celebrating promotion and retirement at the end of May.

Get rid, but sacking him before the slim hope of promotion has finally faded into the distance would be folly. Going into the play offs without a manager would be madness.
If we are looking for someone to come in and do a job   Rofa Pillo  has become available today. Always delivers about this time of the season.

Actually I prefer Rofa Pillo's brother Dunlo. He knows how to put a game to bed.

I say it time and again but we simply aren't well coached enough. Agnew coming in seemed to spark the forwards into life for a bit but that has now flatlined.

I wonder a bit by how hands off SB is in training. If he only starts to watch towards the end of the week the I get the feeling that's why we look so disjointed. We pass it around in training and then on matchday he suddenly wants us to hit it long early.

We have good players at this level and we've shown in spells and full games we can knock the ball around others nice so there must be a reason why we look so disjointed so often.

No, he's several sheets to the wind.
