Searching for a new manager during the season. What could possibly go wrong. When will we learn?

yep. Plenty of managers have had similar situations with players being sold and whatever the circumstances the fans will eventually blame him for the results. Doing bad in the autumn and he'll be gone.

What do people expect Xia to say?  "Well, ordinarily we'd have sacked the useless potato-faced arse for the fucking balls up he made of getting us promoted , but as you may have heard, we're completely and utterly skint so we're stuck with the dinosaur until I can find the next poor sap with £100m  to waste."

I just expect Zia to say sorry for fucking us over and tell us what the plan is for unfucking us but that's even less likely.

I just expect Zia to say sorry for being fuckinged us over and tell us what the plan is for unfucking us but that's even less likely going to take a big plan.

Like most of us he was fooled by those more 'experienced' than him.

We go again.

According to the latest Percy article in the Telegraph we have saved £15 mil in wages since the end of season with loans returning ..so if that figure is accurate does this put to bed the bullshit from Bruce he spent nothing because 15 mil in one year on loans is hardly nothing ..then add in 20 mil plus in purchases plus Thier wages and his argument he spent nothing just falls apart ..

The big question though is are we still stuck with Bodger Bruce?

My fear is we have to spend another season with him before finally joining the 21st Century.

If he stays I reckon he will get us in the play offs again with what's left. It won't be pretty at times but I think he will find a way.

If the squad isn’t completely gutted and some of the youngsters are given, and take, their chance then we could do ok. It will need Bruce to take the shackles off though, which will be a major change. He needs to use this disastrous situation as an opportunity for positive change.

The truth is Bruce has got teams promoted with far less than whatever we end up looking like in August. This is going to force him to look at our kids which is the bit we want to see more of and the aspect that concerns me the most given he’s been reluctant to do that. But the talent is available.
