So Hogan is 5'11" and Bruce has a gameplan.  What parallel universe have I slipped into?  Anyway I know many disagree but I'm with Russell C I think a decent manager playing to his strengths would get a good return out of Hogan.

A decent manager playing to our strengths would have got us promoted last season.

Comparing Hogan to Bent, firstly Bents goal scoring record at the top level is impressive and Bent was an athlete and quick.
Hogan is slow, short and lacks footballing ability.A bargain at £12 mil.
Something not quite right.
You just reminded me. Someone on here described Hogan as "watching him run is reminiscent of watching Tyrion Lanister running headlong into battle" That tickled me but unless your a fan of GOT you won't get it.

That was me I'm afraid.

Very good, his legs are too short.

Maybe Hogan just isnt good enough

Due to injuries he had one good season at Rochdale in league 2 and 6 months with Brentford in the championship. Hardly a great goalscoring record. When you analyse that we must have been mad to pay £10m for him

Google says:

Bent - 5.10
Hogan - 5.10

OK but despite that he earns his living as a professional footballer fairly close to the top tier of English football. Something doesn’t add up🤔

See the team photo where he stands next to Jack, they're the same size. Wiki says Jack is 5'7"

Albert looks the same height and he's 6'1". Assuming you mean this one.

A better guide might be the unibet logos on their chests.  10% of Jack's height is hair gel.

Our the top of the blue sleeve. I'd say Albert is the same height as Gabby. Hogan might be an inch taller than Jack but difficult to say with their bonces.

I take it actual news of Bruce getting sacked is a bit light?
