Struggling to think of a player with an attitude less suited to our side than Malouda.

However, physically there isn't one we could use more.
Malouda will do for starters - now for the next three.
He's 32. I dont think he's quite ready for his pension yet.
But he left Chelsea for a pay out at home. Not that I'd object to his signing at all, certainly not on age, but I thought his mentality was the semi-retired one. I'd love that not to be the case.
According to Wiki he refused to join clubs that wanted him because he wanted to keep his £80k a week. We already have Stephen Ireland occupying the mercenary role in the squad.

It's a 100% wind up eastie, of that i am sure.

Sorry, I might be behind the news a bit here. What did he do to deserve that accolade?
All I know is that he was absolute class for Chelsea.

Would be a decent signing if we got him in - maybe you are right dan but its nice to hear some kind of link.

I agree, but i just cannot see this being true, not with the stupid wages he would want, you never know though i suppose.
£100k phew-
Fifty-six days into Rafael Benitez's reign at Chelsea and Florent Malouda has STILL not met the Spaniard.
The French winger was a key part of the Champions League-winning side last season despite being dropped for the final but he was told he was free to leave the club last summer.
A move failed to materialise though and Malouda has made it quite clear he is happy to see out his £100,000-a-week contract at the club, which runs until June.
Surplus: Florent Malouda has not played this season and seems unlikely to return
Malouda was initially frozen out by Roberto Di Matteo and Chelsea interim manager Benitez has been happy to continue that policy since he took over in November.
Malouda has played 149 times for the club since arriving in 2007, scoring 35 goals.

If the guy was motivated and kept his gob shut he'd be a good option for us. Gamble.
Just read something on F365 about players available on the cheap, and one of them suggested was Flamini.
That's not a bad shout. Have to do a lot of negotiation with Milan on his wages (they're big), but he'd be a good addition to our midfield.

It's a loan, think Benyanoun to WHUFC
100K a week. Out of our range by a mile. Unless we loan him and pay half the wage bill ?
