Strangely I was happier with just Sylla.  At least that would mean there was no money (even if just for a loan) for another centre-half.  Lets just hope this is a monumental fuck up by the media.

Same here.

Is this Simon Dawkins thing confirmed ?
I've just looked on Wikipedia to find out something about Simon Dawkins and they already have his Current Club as "Aston Villa - On loan from Tottenham Hotspur". I'm not saying it's right but that's quick work.

Truly gobsmacking.

Honestly, it is just beyond a joke that that is all our business.

Desperate for a bit of experience, we opt for two more kids who have never kicked a ball at the top level.

It's just bizarre isn't it? It makes you wonder, is Lambert really, really stubborn, or is he trying to send a message of how bad things are by making these types of signings?

Thing is if we just signed Sylla that would at least make sense as he plays in a position we badly need. The last thing we need is some nobody who plays up front.

I'm not going to write him off before we've seen him, but this just stinks of desperation.

It's not even that, it makes absolutely no sense at all.

He's a 'striker' but it depends what sort. Centre forward makes no sense, off the front player who can make something happen is something we need. We have no creativity in the squad.

My worry is more that he's 25 and never appeared for Spurs.

There will be a swap deal involving Darren Bent and a centre half before the evening is out, mark my words.
Now that sounds sensible.

For the first time in ages, i don't worry about where the goals are coming from. At this stage, i'd take a very decent centre back like Huth for Bent.

I was thinking that today... plus a bit of cash,

Lerner is really not supporting Lambert. I actually feel sorry for him. Yes he has made some mistakes, but he should have been backed this month to rectify the errors.

Lerner won't be at the games when the crowd turns and he doesn't appear to give a shit.

He should have been sacked weeks ago- the whole thingvos a shambles.

It's laughable how the Club are 'leaking' the new possible MLS loan signing' on Facebook. This is what we have been reduced to leaking news I'm not even sure Walsall fans would be excited if their club was doing the same thing

Let's hope we all have to eat our words as Dawkins scores and sets up the goals that keep us up.

Exactly. We've already got Bowery for that.

Bowery, Bent, Benteke, Gabby, Weimann. Do we really need someone in addition to that? no, no fucking way. What we need is a defender.
