This  guy might be worth looking at.  He's 21 and is highly regarded.  He's been linked with Man U but I could see us being an ideal stepping stone into the Premier League.

Iniesta was impressed enough to ask Wanyama to swap shirts with him after the match.

He also turned us down to go to Celtic in 2011. I can't see him being that keen to come here now if he didn't want to then.

I don't think he'll sign a left back. Centre midfield and an attacking wide player I reckon.

Centre back if he shfits Dunne too.

Agree with that JJ, though I think Dunne will stay until the summer.  If we do stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation, then a physical presence in central midfield (someone like James McCarthy from Wigan) and an attacking wide player / forward (someone like Tom Ince) would be all we would need in January.  If N'Zogbia can sort himself out, then we probably wouldn't need the latter, but I don't have too much hope about that happening.  A player who could cover both full-back positions (someone like Kyle Naughton) would be good, but is not a necessity.   The rest can wait until the summer.

Edit: I dont watch much foreign football so have suggested domestic examples of the type of players I would like us to sign.  I'm sure there are foreign players who are equally as good if not better as those mentioned who we could probably get for a lot less.

I'm sure I read last week that Celtic have put something silly as Wanyama's transfer value - in the region of £25m!

I'm hoping for the guy we were linked with on dead line day, Wilfried Bony. Best name ever.

We were linked with Zarate around deadline day weren't we? Wonder if there was anything in that.

I suspect N'Zog will be used in some sort of player-swap deal sometime soon (hopefully January).

Yeah that feels like it could be right.  Same with Bent maybe.

Is that right that Lambert was at the Hawthorns last night? If so, i wonder who he was watching?
Express and Star says it was defender Gareth McCauley
