Olsen will leave WBA if anyone offered to increase his pay by significant amount. (50% or more higher). That has to be one of the reason why , if true, he has a £3m release clause.

If the rumour about the release clause is true and it is matched, then surely Clarke or noone else at West Brom could do anything to prevent him talking to other clubs and leaving.

Although he hardly lit the place up when he was on loan here, I still think it was a mistake not to sign him on a permanent deal.  He would have provided an option in midfield that we have been missing the past two seasons.

I thought Tom Huddlestone had retired and gone into acting.

Livermore or Huddlestone would be pretty uninspiring i must say. remember talking about huddlestone as a possible target on here back in MON's day and he done nowt at all of note since then!

I'm a fan of Huddlestone's ability but his inury record is terrible and I'd vomit if we pay Spurs a wedge for another crock.
I also doubt there's anything in this either.

Livermore, I'm just not sure about.

If Olsson is available for 3m, I want him in right away. I'd also like to see us sign Huddlestone. Very good player who needs to be playing regularly. Livermore is a talent, but Huddlestone has more experience and that would be nice.

Dorrans would be a decent buy, but 4m? Silly.

yep. 16 appearances in 3 seasons. If he was a horse he'd have been shot by now. Mind you, he's out of contract in the summer so how much could they ask for him?

After the most vigilant medicals I'd say yes though.
If by some miracle he's through his injury nightmare then Huddlestone would be a good addition.

Loving the link with this Coutinho lad too if not getting carried away.
I think if Villa are smart they'll go for a flair player to excite the crowd. We need it.

A real flair player that can make things happen is exactly what we need going forward to knit what is a really promising side together. A flair player, a tough defensive midfielder, and a centre half and we would be a really interesting side.

That Brighton lad had a good game yesterday and I thought he looks a decent holding player, only to see Poyet touting him to Madrid today.

Agree Jim, though I would add a solid LB on loan until the end of the season as well.

He was clearly waaay out of the pace with PL when he was here but you can thank TSM for not signing him, but then how many in here would've signed Bradley after the 6 months he played for us?
