Looks like we're winding the business down.
Maybe Lambert isn't doing the press conference tomorrow because he's signing someone? Or updating his CV in an Internet cafe?
Looks like we're winding the business down.
Feels like we have been doing it for a while now.
We need a couple of decent players if nothing else than to raise the fans a bit.
This thread is like checking your lottery numbers you know your not going to win but you still look.
I have a better analogy. It's like a load of old farts crying to eachother over the fortunes of some children kicking a bit of plastic about.
Just having a laugh guys, spare your wrath.
Replying to this thread is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman. First you have to boot up your hard drive, then you have to give the right messages and push the right buttons. Before you know it you've delivered into her box and its all over.
Surely we've got a few deals up our sleeve? I can understand the club not giving anything away but I'm really disappointed we havn't got anyone in yet. Last night just confirmed how poor we are.
Makes me laugh how this is always on the recent posts.
Haven't you lot given up by now?

That's another reason, the club owes the fans something to lift our spirits. Obviously it's crucial they're the sort of players we need, but the club needs to give something to the fans now.
We're certainly a far less attractive option than the start of the month, when we could have realistically tempted players with the promise of a Wembley appearance and European competition next season.
Players are only tempted by money. Dont believe me then why has Sneijder at the peak of his powers gone to Galatasaray.
99% of the foreign players are mercanaries look at Demba Ba for instance ,money money money.
Having said that I dont blame them. In their countries of birth they would pick up a minimal wage. Over here its a kings ransom

And its all down to an Australian called Murdoch.

Surely the free flags on the chairs last night lifted the spirits? No transfers in january but we've all now got spiffing flags to wave about like X Factor audience members.
It wouldn't suprise me if we are waiting to sell Bent before we bring anyone in.
I hope we do if it means we get to spend some money and bring some players in. Let's face it, we aren't using him in any kind of way and we are paying him £60k+ a week.

That is the way football has become. For the worse. The fans will bite back though.
As others have said surely to god the club have to sanction a couple of purchases, one to give us at least a fighting chance of stopping up and almost as important to give the fans some hope that the club haven't given up.
The 'free' flags last night was our january transfer budget.

Small time idea by a club being run small time.
