dont know why but just watched the coverage that i recorded of last nights game,
Saunders looks absolutly gutted at the end of the match, and like he said he played for both clubs
because he knows we are very much in the shit
When was the last time we didnt sign anyone during a transfer window?
The last thing the players on the pitch need is for any demonstrations or such. We need to stay behind the team to at least try and keep us up.
What we do need to do those is boycott the SPENDING at the club. That will hit Lerner. No programmes, no food, no drinks, no merchandise. Spend your money on your ticket to support the lads and yell your heads off. If we do go down (which I suspect we will), let's make sure it isn't a case of WE could have done more.
FILL THE GROUND, Scream and shout for the lads on the pitch, but keep the tills empty.

I noticed this. He looked like he'd just heard the news that a much-beloved family member had passed away. He's been away from the club for a while and it was probably a shock to see how far we've fallen. We've seen it happen gradually over the last few years.
Imagine falling into a coma after our semi-final win against Blackburn, only to wake up to see the semi-final against Bradford? You'd struggle to believe your eyes, and you'd probably want to go back to the coma.
He owns the club ... he doesnt need or have to speak to you
Get over it ..... move on .....
Vote with your feet only way they (he) will listen
At least with shareholders there are different views
Yes, because I posted it with every belief that he is on here reading this

I hear what you're saying, just need to get the ranting off my chest y'know
What gets me is, Newcastle, seeing they're in a bit of trouble have bought in 3 or 4 decent players already.
We, on the other hand, clearly in more trouble, are pretending it isn't happening.
Understand last night's humiliation & parlous lge position won't alter @AVFCOfficial's attitude to Jan transfer market.Might not buy 1/2

Goodness. Does Lerner have some sort of bet on? You know, clubs of similar size have protested against their ownerships for less, us included when Hellis looked like he was taking us down. How long before we show a bit of that?

He's a fucking idiot, plain and simple.
He's appointed a CEO who is quite clearly way, way out of his depth, and is still in denial with this Ajax model bullshit.
He may have put lots of money into the club, but the way he has managed his asset - or allowed it to be managed - is utterly laughable. Three years of continued decline, and he's just going to sit on his hands, doing nothing.
If he's going to sit in the US watching the odd match on television, then he absolutely MUST get people into the management of the club here who understand the game.
Right now, all he is doing is proving that not only was he a dreadful sports club owner in the US, he's even worse on this side of the Atlantic.

Didn't we only bring Keane in on a 6 week loan last January

Indeed. If he thinks this is how Ajax run their club, he's insane.
Is Lerner purposely trying to down grade? It all appears just so flagrant.
If they don't sign any players, or deal with a lame duck manager, I'd be tempted to think so.
Craig Gardner is a blindingly obvious signing. Not the most talented but a bit of grit and presence about him. Good with set pieces, can break into the box and will get stuck in.
I think if we don't buy anyone we go down. Not based on what abilities they bring now as brittle as the squad is we a signing to boost the players psychologically.
Very worrying times
I actually think we have the best front line we have had in years but whats the point when the midfield is the worse I have ever seen at Villa .
