I dare not believe the Coutinho link in the slightest. Still a kid but he could turn out to be one of the best players in the world in a few years, 2 footed, quick, can pass, can shoot, good from set pieces and, to draw a comparison, carries the ball in a similar way to Maradona, just shifts direction so effortlessly and has the ball on a string (for anyone unsure of him there are loads of good youtube videos).
If he's available it's because he's not quite lived up to his promise so far but, that said i can't imagine that no champions league team will want to throw £8m at inter and see if they can get the most out of him. -

from what I've read on the back pages it would seem that we're the only club that Sneijder hasn't been touted out to, shame. -

Ireland's been a waste of space but we've had many good games from Dunne. Lescott would be a good signing for Villa. He's most certainly a Villa fan, as my sister knows his mother, and he spends a fair bit of time back in Birmingham. More importantly he's a bloody good centreback, and that's just what we need in our team. -
It's not Lescott's fault that his employers agreed to such generous terms of employment. if they now want rid, he's within his rights to be a bit arsey.
