6 years ago we were about to have this game, look at us now. Bonkers.

Nas & Wes have pretty much set the model for how to invest and develop a club, relatively flawlessly.

Apart from SHA, of course. We skipped the being relegated to the third division bit, which may cost us.

Where/when have Celtic fans caused trouble outside Scotland?
The problem for WMP will be what to do with several thousand ticketless fans, many of whom will be over the drink drive limit. I'd be very surprised if there is any bother between the fans. It's the first time we've played them in a competitive fixture and hopefully will be a night to remember.
Yeah I don't expect trouble as such , they'll just come and drink the city / Digbeth dry . Hopefully no sectarian/ Palestinian stuff. I think they'll be on good form actually.
The problems might come from our blue neighbours who seem to have become pally with their blue neighbours.

I have to admit that I have a bad feeling about the CL. Reckon we might get one or two pastings.

But with all due respect, if we can't beat Celtic, Brugge & Young Boys handsomely then I'd fear for our season overall.

I wouldn’t expect any straightforward games. These are teams with lots of European experience. I’d hope we’d win those, but I’d be surprised if we cruised them.

I reckon we'll get 10 points, so should make the play offs then it's luck of the draw.

Tbf they havent played many English sides over the years. There will be trouble i think. The fans need to be up for this as they will be very loud

They've played loads.

Don't remember there being any trouble this century. Hibs fans were very loud but didn't cause the slightest bother, either.

Mate they have only played city since 2009. Thats not a lot

You did say “over the years”. How was he meant to know you meant a very specific, but not mentioned, period of time?

Ask the question over a time span?

One team in 14 years is a " period of time" if you want to pedantic 🙂

Don't see why. We regularly play Man C, Arsenal, and Liverpool - not often we get hammered.

Looking at the overall winners odds, we are offered around 50/1.
Bayern are similar odds to Liverpool.
Juve are a slightly shorter than us, Leipzig and Monaco are slightly longer.
Bologna, Celtic, Young Boys, and Brugge are all outsiders.

We should be looking to make the top half of the play off positions (9th-16th). Perhaps even have a chance going into the last league game end of January of making 8th and going straight through to the last 16. Then you are three ties from Munich !

I'm sure one of Europes most experienced managers will have already planned this all out and covered all contingencies.

Is the Monaco ground the one that looks like an opera house at each end?

Isn't the car park under the pitch which is harder due to it being laid over concrete?

I think our draw is fantastic. Two huge European giants in Bayern and Juventus, with some interesting away trips that all look winnable.
  • Leipzig, birthplace of Wagner, the Musical trail, the zoo, goth festival,  vegetable speciality Liepzieg Allerlei...
  • Bruges, belfry, canals, lake, the chocolate Bruges swan, beer, Belgian chips !
  • Bern, clock tower, bear park, Berner platte (meats galore), one of the most beautiful cities in the world
  • Monaco, 'playground to the very wealthy', (ok, uninspiring shithole).
Bags of fun.

Only been to Monaco and it was rubbish. Full of yachts and casinos and people dodging taxes.

Only redeeming feature was the football stadium, that seemed to have terracotta tiling on the roof, from what I could see.

I quite liked looking at the yachts, the Lady Moura always sticks in my mind, as does paying £20 for a coffee and small beer!
