I think our draw is fantastic. Two huge European giants in Bayern and Juventus, with some interesting away trips that all look winnable.
  • Leipzig, birthplace of Wagner, the Musical trail, the zoo, goth festival,  vegetable speciality Liepzieg Allerlei...
  • Bruges, belfry, canals, lake, the chocolate Bruges swan, beer, Belgian chips !
  • Bern, clock tower, bear park, Berner platte (meats galore), one of the most beautiful cities in the world
  • Monaco, 'playground to the very wealthy', (ok, uninspiring shithole).
Bags of fun.

TAG. You say the draws are shitty and relate it to your desire to visit wonderful European cities. The point of my reply is that a cup draw is to choose opponents from many European cities, not to achieve bucket list objectives. I'm sure we would not have wanted Reykjavik, East Berlin or Kiev in 1982 but that is what it is all about.

What is there to take offence and be thin-skinned about?

I have my reasons as to why I would like certain places. My missus would love to see more of Europe and since it's a bloody long way from Mexico, I wanted somewhere a bit more interesting and certainly one of the big guns for the experience. Real Madrid away would be incredible!

You criticised my post and then informed me the "point" of the draw as if it's an objective truth. It isn't. It's different for everyone as we all have our reasons.
Bloody hell! No. The objective reason, which is an indisputable truth, for the draw is to choose opponents for European cup fixtures. You choosing to tell us how upset you are at not getting the cities you wanted is cool. However, me pointing out that it is not about you (or any of us) is cool too. I could have said 'That's nice!' or 'What a shame!' But I said 'It's not Trip Advisor!'

Are you sure you didn't have a previous username on here? Hmm!

A previous username? I have no idea what that's meant to mean??

well you did have a different user name on villatalk,  before you got rumbled in the birmingham mail for conning a load of people and doing a runner

Remember Hoppo (is he still about) being angered by him.

Who was the conspiracy theorist? Danzilla or the like?

What? I was part of a company that had to refund over 200k after our company collapsed because of COVID. If.you want to make libellous claims then we can certainly go down that route.

Agreed, but can we get back to the Netflix true crime documentary that was unfolding above, please.

No, we had a UK company that we ran for 9 years until COVID basically destroyed the business. We had to refund 200k worth of.tours (which we did) but some people claimed that we had acted inappropriately whilst we were processing the refunds. Which we didn't as we were within the legal timeframe for refunds according to the law and they all got refunded, meaning we lost everything.

Our staff in the UK lost their jobs and I personally lost about 500k.

So bullshit uniformed and libellous comments like that areaehole just posted are not ok.

Anyway, this is the Champions League forum.

Stu, will you stop being the thought police, please? You'll be locking people up for saying they're English again, next.
What, these days he’ll arrest you and throw you in jail just for saying you’re English?
