Businesses go bust all the time, often through no fault of their own. The best you can hope for is that the owners try to do the right thing, which it sounds like AG was trying to.

Thanks. Yes we absolutely did but it took a long time to resolve and so people jumped to conclusions whilst we were dealing with the situation. It was the worst time of my life and I lost everything I had built up over 9.years. The very last thing I expect is to be  defamed on here by arseholes that don't have the facts.

Anyway, this is a thread about the Champions League and we should really get back to that.

Where/when have Celtic fans caused trouble outside Scotland?
The problem for WMP will be what to do with several thousand ticketless fans, many of whom will be over the drink drive limit. I'd be very surprised if there is any bother between the fans. It's the first time we've played them in a competitive fixture and hopefully will be a night to remember.
Yeah I don't expect trouble as such , they'll just come and drink the city / Digbeth dry . Hopefully no sectarian/ Palestinian stuff. I think they'll be on good form actually.

You are right it is a champion league thread, but thanks for explaining the issues,

Very good draw.  No Baltic hooligans
I didn’t know the Faroese felt so strongly about their Scandinavian cousins!

Here is a random FM save to give an idea of what may be required to qualify.

We can't compete with the Manchester Sixes of this world.

Wonder if Illing-Jr will play against us for Bologna.

I think our draw is fantastic. Two huge European giants in Bayern and Juventus, with some interesting away trips that all look winnable.
  • Leipzig, birthplace of Wagner, the Musical trail, the zoo, goth festival,  vegetable speciality Liepzieg Allerlei...
  • Bruges, belfry, canals, lake, the chocolate Bruges swan, beer, Belgian chips !
  • Bern, clock tower, bear park, Berner platte (meats galore), one of the most beautiful cities in the world
  • Monaco, 'playground to the very wealthy', (ok, uninspiring shithole).
Bags of fun.

Only been to Monaco and it was rubbish. Full of yachts and casinos and people dodging taxes.

Only redeeming feature was the football stadium, that seemed to have terracotta tiling on the roof, from what I could see.

Is the Monaco ground the one that looks like an opera house at each end?

Think Opta suggested 8 points should be enough for Knockout Round.

So if we can beat Celtic and Bologna, we'd only need 1 more victory.

When we lost that playoff final against Fulham and our world started unravel, imagine someone telling you this was just a few years away.

Ha, I think that was the made up team the person playing the game was playing as. I found it on a forum and thought it gave a litle insight into what we may need to get through.

I reckom we will get top 15. Not sure where exactly but enough for play offs.

I expect 13 points, which will be play-offs. And we'll play PSG.

I have to admit that I have a bad feeling about the CL. Reckon we might get one or two pastings.

But with all due respect, if we can't beat Celtic, Brugge & Young Boys handsomely then I'd fear for our season overall.
