Have to say that I thought our draw looked more favourable than Arse or Liverpool.

Man City got the easiest looking draw imo.

I just like the way Real Madrid's looks pretty hard. Where's Franco?

I think our draw is fantastic. Two huge European giants in Bayern and Juventus, with some interesting away trips that all look winnable.

I went on a boat trip in Tenerife and there was a chap there in a Celtic top. He seemed a polite and well-mannered young man.
Yes, they are all like that.Decent chaps the lot of them.

Where/when have Celtic fans caused trouble outside Scotland?

Tbf they havent played many English sides over the years. There will be trouble i think. The fans need to be up for this as they will be very loud

They've played loads.

Don't remember there being any trouble this century. Hibs fans were very loud but didn't cause the slightest bother, either.

There was the shit they caused v Rapid Vienna back in 1985 and match was replayed at Old Trafford when some exiled fans caused a bit of bother.

Other than that - some idiots singing about IRA every so often bound to happen. Like their pillock neighbours who seemed to behave themselves in 2008 in Manchester overall when they got to UEFA final

Eurostar to Lille Europe. Train from Lille Flanders to Bruges is another option.
Cheers. Yes whilst the journey is about 15 minutes longer than Brussels to Brugge you arrive in Lille about 30 minutes earlier so more than makes up time difference.

Yes the home games are brilliant..Leipzig is the one away that we may struggle with but certainly not as difficult as they could be.

So nothing this century then, like I said. I'm not sure what "Rangers" have to do with it.

Well other than the rioting, it all went off without a hitch.

No. That's my point. I'd hope they can keep it real as they'll be treated well. It isn't the 1970s - well not in England

Yes out of 200000 fans present. 40000 in the stadium. Christ I can't stand the Old Firm and their shotty rhetoric but I am well aware that all clubs have pillocks supporting them.

BBC News reported that a small groups of Rangers supporters had clashed with police in the city centre after a bank was attacked, bus stop and a sports car which was bounced over the road.[2] Greater Manchester Police reported that "a minority of thugs"[2] among the 200,000 visiting Rangers fans were involved in the violence.[3]

TAG. You say the draws are shitty and relate it to your desire to visit wonderful European cities. The point of my reply is that a cup draw is to choose opponents from many European cities, not to achieve bucket list objectives. I'm sure we would not have wanted Reykjavik, East Berlin or Kiev in 1982 but that is what it is all about.

What is there to take offence and be thin-skinned about?

I have my reasons as to why I would like certain places. My missus would love to see more of Europe and since it's a bloody long way from Mexico, I wanted somewhere a bit more interesting and certainly one of the big guns for the experience. Real Madrid away would be incredible!

You criticised my post and then informed me the "point" of the draw as if it's an objective truth. It isn't. It's different for everyone as we all have our reasons.
Bloody hell! No. The objective reason, which is an indisputable truth, for the draw is to choose opponents for European cup fixtures. You choosing to tell us how upset you are at not getting the cities you wanted is cool. However, me pointing out that it is not about you (or any of us) is cool too. I could have said 'That's nice!' or 'What a shame!' But I said 'It's not Trip Advisor!'

Are you sure you didn't have a previous username on here? Hmm!

A previous username? I have no idea what that's meant to mean??

I once called an immensely fat Celtic supporter a fat ****** for knocking the drinks out of my hand with his enormous belly, when he knew I was there at the bar. This was in the old Ruskin Hall club after a Villa match in about 2002/3, I was 22 years old and him and his mates confronted me in front of my 13 year old nephew, saying they were IRA and would sort us.

Fuck Celtic.

Totally agree. And with Emery in charge we are in a very good place.
