Not happy with the draw. Wanted some amazing away games and we've got 4 absolutely shit ones. Small shitty grounds in crappy places. Bruges is a nice town but meh.

Really wanted a headline away game. At least one.

Oh well, the home games are good at least.
It's cup football not Trip Advisor.

Ah ok. Didn't realise that I am not able to comment on the draw. Apologies. I thought this was a forum and this was the thread to discuss the places we are going to be playing and the teams that play there.
You have commented on the draw and I have replied. Nobody has impinged on or restricted your freedom of speech. Calm down!

I don't say you had. I just replied to your comment about trip advisor as I thought it was a weird thing to say. I was simply commenting on the away games as I intend to travel (a long way) to a few of them. Having travelled to all of the places we have drawn, I can comment based on knowledge, experience and preference that I would rather we had drawn Madrid or Milan.

That's all. I'm not sure why that is such a problem.

Celtic forum saying they will batter us and they will qualify in top 8. Best draw they have ever had etc.
also saying they will bring (pick a number between 10 and 25,000) and takeover Brum

This is the main reason i didnt want to play them. You just know thousands will turn up ticketless and there will be some trouble
I'd imagine WMP will treat it like the Legia Warsaw game in terms of potential trouble, did a terrific job that night. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring 10,000 though. If we turn it on against them and score early I can see us getting 3 or 4, we'd have to have a real off night to lose against them.

We will need to win that game and the Bologna game at home and then YB and Monaco away would see us through. Bruges is winnable too.

TAG. You say the draws are shitty and relate it to your desire to visit wonderful European cities. The point of my reply is that a cup draw is to choose opponents from many European cities, not to achieve bucket list objectives. I'm sure we would not have wanted Reykjavik, East Berlin or Kiev in 1982 but that is what it is all about.

What is there to take offence and be thin-skinned about?

Yes. I have been behaving like a Twitter turd (now know as X excrement) to Accent. In a very childish way too.

No harm was meant.

Bayern will be very slick and will probably have most of the possession. Will be a great test for us. Juventus are beatable IMO and so are Celtic and Bologna. I can see us getting at least one away win.

I have my reasons as to why I would like certain places. My missus would love to see more of Europe and since it's a bloody long way from Mexico, I wanted somewhere a bit more interesting and certainly one of the big guns for the experience. Real Madrid away would be incredible!

You criticised my post and then informed me the "point" of the draw as if it's an objective truth. It isn't. It's different for everyone as we all have our reasons.

Bloody hell! No. The objective reason, which is an indisputable truth, for the draw is to choose opponents for European cup fixtures. You choosing to tell us how upset you are at not getting the cities you wanted is cool. However, me pointing out that it is not about you (or any of us) is cool too. I could have said 'That's nice!' or 'What a shame!' But I said 'It's not Trip Advisor!'

i'm not exactly seeing the favourable draw aspect, these will be tough games

They will be tough as they’ve all, Bologna accepted, got a lot more recent European experience than us but considering who we could have got it’s decent. A nice spread of heavyweights and on paper at least winnable games.

I went on a boat trip in Tenerife and there was a chap there in a Celtic top. He seemed a polite and well-mannered young man.
