I assume that's so we don't have to pay him off and we just pay the delta in his salary. he's probably got about ｣8.5m left of his book value left and on a salary of ~｣150k/wk he's a ridiculous drag on a financials (~｣12m p.a.). Just an awful deal

I expect so, although I think with the number of players we have, it could be one out, one in, for the important first team spots. Like, we might not buy a right back, centre-half or striker unless we get acceptable offers for Cash, Carlos, Duran respectively. Otherwise we値l be way over the 25.

We need a couple of top proven players signed. Playing in the Champions League is huge step up from the Europa Conference League.
