Given new speculation has started to pop into the January thread may as well get the summer window kicked off. A massive window of indeed we do make it to CL. Even Europa as disappointing as that would be is a step up again. We will need to improve in a number of areas the overall depth and quality of many of the players we have now while abiding by FFP.

What are we hearing? Who/what do we need?

In light of FFP, I wonder if Kosta and Lino Sousa will replace Cash and Digne?

I would have waited until the clocks go forward for BST on 31/03/2024.

Digne for sure will be gone. We will trying to offload Coutinho permanently. Chambers will be gone I’m sure. Cam will return to be sold again. My biggest concern would be JJ being sold. And yeh, didn’t think of Konsa who would be a prized asset especially if he goes to the Euros, gets to play and does well.

They’ve gone forward over here weeks ago. You lot need to catch up.

Paul Robinson makes me laugh saying villa will sell JJ and luiz for 100m 😂 luiz alone is close to 100m

The big summer link is hermanso on a free. That would be a superb bit of business tbh

For me it’s all about not losing any of Bailey Konsa Martinez Watkins SJM Pau Ramsey Kamara Luiz.
Improve the RB options. Expect some change at LB.
With Mings and Buendia returning it’s then about greater squad depth and or getting more from the rest.
Holding on to those 9 players is the key.

There's only a 2 week difference (assuming the clocks change in Canada when they do in the US). It's always the last Sunday in March over here. It's quite nice being able to finish work before 8pm instead of before 9pm.

All teams evolve and change, they need to. We're no different and I'm interested to see what happens. There are certain players I'd rather keep and right now, Martinez and Watkins are the two that would be the hardest to replace.

I trust Emery to do what he thinks best, I just hope we're not in the situation of having to sell anyone rather than choosing to.

3 weeks. We changed on March 10th. Arizona doesn’t change at all. I’m all for that.

It doesn't change in Cayman either, the 6 hour time difference is a killer for pre-3pm games.

I'm fine with losing any of them IF we replace with better. Of course some can't be improved at the current time in their career as they ARE the best there is.

I think Dave P meant Kosta - (Nedeljkovic) our new young Serbian RB, replacing Cash.

The big summer link is Hermanso on a free.
He can play alongside Rodgers, Beundia, MacGinn and Tim Irogbhunam.  As long as he speaks good Spanish.
