Does anyone here with medical knowledge/inside information know what actually is wrong with his back: is it a muscular or a spinal thing or what?

I wouldn't say I'm an expert but I do a bit of spinal imaging as a hobby. I reckon he's got non possum molestari. It makes your spine do this ----/--- instead of this ---(--^--- I reckon he'll need six weeks of extreme lesbianism to shake it off, or it can be managed with Chewits.

Is it related to the pigeon-shagging or does that run in parallel? (see match-thread).

That sounds like someone copied and pasted from AI.

No, that’s all. I tried asking chat-gpt and it told me it wasn’t allowed to state that extreme lesbianism was the cure or cause of any medical complaint because of political correctness* gone mad.

* also incorporates actual correctness

In this case, didn't Emery state he felt stiffness in his thigh during warmup so in theory nothing wrong with his back.

I genuinely think we need to get him to take penalties.

I think it was calf not thigh but yes, the weekend wasn't reported as being a back problem.

I know that lots of people don't like laptop boffins and their data, but even so:

Top 10 Premier League goalkeepers

Quote
Gradient’s Player Grades measure execution rather than outcome. The grading process begins with Gradient’s team of analysts evaluating over 2,000 events per game – everything a player does during a match from aerial duels to dribbling to set-piece shooting, and everything in between.

Each event is graded on a scale of -2 to +2 in 0.5 increments; 0 representing expected execution, positive or negative grades are awarded for a performance that is better or worse than expected. Those grades are then translated into an easy to understand 0-100 game and season rating across over 50 grading categories, including an overall performance grade.

-----

(10) - (2) - some other bozos who play for other clubs

1) Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) – 89.9

Martinez probably was the best in the world for a time, and he will probably tell you he still is. Despite some feeling he has slipped from his peak, the World Cup winner has still made the joint-highest number of big time saves; the second-highest number of crosses caught; and the highest passing grade, which is pretty much all you can ask of any keeper: save it, catch it, pass it.
