Quote from: PeterWithesShin on April 19, 2024, 12:14:47 PMDoes the penalty yellow count though. Logic says yes, but logic also says he should have been off for 2 yellows. As yellows in the game were wiped before the pens, where do they fall discipline wise. QF and before. Semi finals. Twilight Zone. Does anyone know. This is where I am. I am 90% sure he'll be suspended, but part of my wonders if it's one of those weird things where the end of extra-time is technically the "end of the quarter-final" and the penalties exist outside of that. But then if he'd gone and headbutted the ref, he would have got a red and definitely been suspended, so hence the 90%.I think we have to assume Olsen will be playing in the first leg, unfortunately.

And was I imagining it, or did he start pronouncing Luiz as Douglash Luiz and Santos as Santosh towards the end?

He hasn't done too badly in the last couple of appearances. Obviously he isn't the best goalie on the planet this season, but he should be enough against them at home.

Douglush, Tielemon..he spends ages trying to show everybody how clever he is by pronouncing everybody's names "properly". Just get on with the commentating, Alan bloody partridge. TNT as a whole is completely awful, the only decent person there is co-commentator Lucy Ward who's very good.
Might it be case that if Martinez had received a yellow in the first game and then two yellows in the 120 minutes of the second game he would be banned but because the penalties are outside that for yellow cards - as clearly demonstrated last night he isn't banned?
Samir Nasri has now condemned his behaviour’ You stop a shot on goal, you don’t need to attack the opposing fans by telling them “shh”, frankly.’He’s an animal I tells ya…. Attacking those poor innocent people with his indiscriminate ssh’s.Prick.
