In a pragmatic world the city of Birmingham should build a world class, city centre stadium, that could be shared, between us, Warwickshire and small heath. It would never, ever happen.

And in reality they would be better off doing some sort of deal with solihull moors who could use their training groun as their ground..

I still think we should be looking at Newtown or Smithfield.

I’m all in favour of moving. As historic as Villa Park is, it’s too small, it’s in a shit area, it’s crap to get away from, and most of the stands and facilities are well out of date.

We need to lose the sentimentality and move to something new, that is awesome and spectacular. Something Rinder, Ramsey and McGregor would be proud of.

I think the ‘Triggers broom’ analogy of Villa Park is spot on, it’s a cobbled together old fashioned dinosaur of a ground.

Which side is particularly shit in your opinion, the Aston Hall Road/Expressway or Aston park or the residential streets?  To me the park and rows and rows of terraced streets make the place unique, not that I want the stadium to stay there.

It's when you honestly answer the question Dave W posed a few weeks ago about what would Frederick Rinder have thought that you realise that to signiificantly move the club forward it probably is time to move on from Villa Park in the near(ish) future.

I don't believe anyone here ever met Rinder, let alone knows would what he would think in 2024.

I don't think i'd be letting a 165 year old make any important decisions.

Thinking we should move is fair enough. Slagging the ground off is just, well, Guess Who?

I'd be well excited about a move to a new fuck-off stadium.

We won't have these owners for ever, need to make the most of them to help set us up for the next 100 years.

I'm surprised so many of you dislike our ground. I must be overly sentimental.
