About £4.50 and 21 minute train from Nice to Monaco. Flights from Manchester to Nice looking at £280 for direct.
Lovely train journey from Nice to Monaco hugging the Mediterranean

Or helicopter from Nice Airport to Monaco about 15 mins. That's how I used to travel to Monaco when I worked there sometimes when sent over from London office for my company.

Where/when have Celtic fans caused trouble outside Scotland?
The problem for WMP will be what to do with several thousand ticketless fans, many of whom will be over the drink drive limit. I'd be very surprised if there is any bother between the fans. It's the first time we've played them in a competitive fixture and hopefully will be a night to remember.
Yeah I don't expect trouble as such , they'll just come and drink the city / Digbeth dry . Hopefully no sectarian/ Palestinian stuff. I think they'll be on good form actually.
The problems might come from our blue neighbours who seem to have become pally with their blue neighbours.
There's not many places near the ground to accommodate 5-10,000 ticketless fans . I'm sure the city centre / Digbeth bars will appreciate the extra trade

I was just pontificating on the fixtures - will we take 30000 to Bruges?

Brugge Police will not like another 30k brummies there, they still haven't got rid of the last load.

I have to admit that I have a bad feeling about the CL. Reckon we might get one or two pastings.

But with all due respect, if we can't beat Celtic, Brugge & Young Boys handsomely then I'd fear for our season overall.

We couldn't beat Zrinjski Mostar, Legia Warsaw or Middlesbrough comfortably but still had a pretty decent season.

I reckon we will beat one of Juventus or Bayern but drop points against Celtic and/or Bologna.

Exactly why i thought the draw looks tough . Whichever way you cut it the draw will be tough in the ECL .

This tournament is what we’ve strived for. It’s not a 3rd rate European tournament, it’s the pinnacle for any European club side. Under Emery we have a good chance of progressing well into it. I can’t wait.

I did that once. Absolutely terrifying, the pilots all seem to take off with the cabin of the helicopter facing vertically down towards the sea. I'd rather get the train.

Yeah but in those matches we were making lots of changes with Unai trying to eke out resources. It's why I think this transfer window is so disappointing. We need to go at the Champions League full tilt and can't be putting out the sorts of weakened team we did in the early rounds of the conference league. But we also can't expect the likes of Torres and Watkins to play nearly 50-60 games.

The biggest issue we will have is in conference we couls occasionally play squad players.  And save our better ones for the league games. You cant do that in CL as the teams are far superior.

Thats why you need a big squad with quality . My prediction is thats where we may fall down.

What should we have done to avoid falling down?

Id have probably done a unpopular decision and sold youri instead of luiz

And not signed enzo and illing jr if we cant use them this year.

Also not spent 10m on dobbin

Add to this we need to try and win a trophy - which realistically is only the League Cup or FA Cup... Unai will need to work miracles!

The Luiz deal was because of the PSR deadline.

It's great to be involved again, and the extra money is not to be sniffed at. However, I get the wobbles thinking what we do if Watkins gets injured. Not an original thought by any means, I know, but the wobbles is still the wobbles.

Thankfully midfield looks well catered for.
