My phone only offers about 5 colours with its pen. The tits, fanny and Villa are a bit too red I suppose.

Whether you like the badge or not, and everybody who I've spoken to absolutely loathes the new one, the point is there's a process that clubs are supposed to follow when changing heritage assets, and the club (or Heck to be more precise) very much haven't done that. At least under Purslow they pretended to have a consultation even if it was intended to influence the final outcome. Now they've just abandoned that badge, taken the already shit Lerner badge and made it worse, and said "here's what you're getting, suck it up."

Indeed. On top of that they had the balls to announce last summer that the new badge that arose from the 2022 process was actually being rewritten as a tribute to 1982 (even though the anniversary was the previous season!) and it would be on the kit for one year only!

We're fans, well customers in Hecks language, and maybe I am old fashioned but I find it hard to part with money on businesses that treat me like I am stupid.

I love that lion.

The rest is shit, but could be adapted to be less shit quite easily, but that lion is an absolute thing of beauty & to have that as part of our crest would be quite unique.

Especially if they choose to follow a few other clubs example & just have that particular lion on the shirt...

It would look a lot better without the 1874.

Put the name at the top and it wouldn’t be so bad. I’d also get rid of 1874 (especially in white), and the small-time star, but I get that there’s plenty of idiots about who like it.

The only way having a star works is if it is like this example;

Can someone explain why the star is on our badge is ‘so shit’ ?
I can’t for the life of me understand why so many are offended by it.

Because when we win the CL 7 times it will make the lion look dazed

It's white. It looks like those stars you got in your exercise book at primary school. It seems to be randomly positioned on the badge, and resembles a faint splash of seagull shit. It is supposed to remind us of something we won forty-two years ago, in another century but we have to explain that to most people who see the kit (well I do, people over here don't know where or what Birmingham is to be honest).

I dunno really.

It’s better than the wrong way facing Lion one.

If we did win it again one day, what do you do? Redesign the badge every time it happens? It's daft. I'm also human, most humans like symmetry.

It looks like an asterisk, people will be looking for an explanation below.
