You'd have thought the upper Doug Ellis away end could have been sold to some of the 2 billion desperate for a slice of the action on the waiting list.

Plenty of empty seats around  , 35k seemed about right

I dont think you can have home fans sat above away fans in that scenario for segregation  so they  probably cant sell them .

But you have your narrative anyway.

Also, I know it's not a big place but that was a piss poor following for a game of that magnitude for them

I thought that, the entire upper tier empty, it's not like it's a long way from Burnley.

Suppose small town, not the most affluent area, not the easiest place to get to midweek but...yeah, poor effort.

Thought SJM was MOTM don't know where he gets his energy from, can't remember the last match he missed or the last time we was subbed, Tyrone and Buendia also superb. If circumstances had been different and Burnley weren't fighting for their lives I expect we would have won the match quite comfortably. Pope had a blinder, which says it all, and as for Tyrone in the last few minutes, if their was a 'Block of the season' award, he would surely have won it!

With the problems on the M6, I didn't get home until 2 AM. Quite enjoyed the game and hopefully, that point will send Leds down!

Had a problem similar to the 11 players out there last night - couldn't get past Pope on the M6

If Leeds and Burnley had had each others keepers for the season, Leeds would be well clear of relegation and Burnley would be below Norwich in my opinion.

Just watched the highlights again. One way traffic. But for an amazing goalkeeping night, they would have been buried. Can't see anything to complain about.

Do Sky not show controversial moments on their highlights like the Barnes elbow?

Villa did send out a message before the match to say the game was another sell out. Didn’t look that way to me. Maybe a lot of season ticket holders just didn’t turn up as there were plenty of empty seats. I think I read somewhere that the club will gain about £4 million from the ticket price increases. However, if we had finished 2 places higher, the club would benefit from £8million more in prize money.

or could it now be that the everyday supporters have reached the point of if the players can't be arsed why should we, it's not just the traveling but also the cost

Loads of empty seats all over VP last night, I reckon the “real” attendance was 35k ish. Disgrace!

I'd been in the office yesterday and had left my wallet at home like the twat I am, so I was starving when I got back and there was a moment when I nearly didn't bother.

I was a bit ill and worried it was The Vid, so didn't bother. Tested negative and feeling better today so probably just being a drama queen. Someone needs to, if Wilma isn't going to post any more.
