Really frustrating as we had the chances to win the game but that block from Mings is amongst the best I've ever seen.

Better when Coutino came on but we really need some bigger bodies in the squad.

You can see we've the makings of a decent team. We need some strength and height in the team.

Coutinho helped when he came on. We were the better side, should have won, but we need to work on our precision. Superb block from Mings.

As many pointed out, Pope kept them in the game about four times. We were a bit quiet and didn't look like we really knew how to break them down, but no one played badly. A shame not to have won.

Better second half but disjointed and lacking cohesion going forward, with the exception of the goal and the Traore header.

Pope MOTM and prevented a comfortable win for us.

I liked the look of Coutinho starting next to Luiz and carrying the ball forwards - not sure how well that would work against teams not parking the bus though.

An ok performance, can definitely play better.

Second half was a far more enjoyable watch. Both sides had chances and Pope in particular made some top saves. Fair play to Buendia for atoning for his error very quickly but unfortunately I thought his influence waned when Coutinho came in. Mings stopping a certain goal at end. McGinn our best today for me.

Martinez 7, Cash 5, Chambers 7, Mings 8, Digne 6, Luiz 7, McGinn 8, Ramsey 6 (Coutinho 6), Chucky 4 (Traore 6), Buendia 6, Watkins 5 (Ings 6).

It really is obvious that we need to add some physicality to the team and have needed to for 2 years.

Nick Pope MOTM tells it all.

The only stat they bested us on was fouls 20 (that the ref could  be arsed to give) to our 11.
