There were delicious cheese batches (cobs/rolls) in the Witton Lane yesterday. I hope this will be a regular thing although it may have had something to do with the 90s retro stuff.

I trod in some white dog shit outside the Villa Chippy before the game. Simultaneously impressed and pissed off as to how serious the club were promoting their 90's day.

When I worked in Canley during late 80s early 90s we heard the pub nearby, the Newlands, was doing chip butties. However if you ordered a chip butty you got nothing  till you said a chip batch please.
