It was Heck who pivoted towards this strategy. Parslow was the one pursuing the complete new-build strategy.

I think the point is valid that we have spent years and years talking about this and we are now in 2026 and a long way from seeing the benefits of a 50,000 seater.

This is now looking good so hopefully we are going to be sitting pretty in a sparkling north stand in 18 months time

I tell you what, if any Villa officials are viewing this thread for ideas for the new stand, please do not sell Poretti beer. Vile stuff (this is also a plea to change it next season!).

They will sell whoever pays them money for the rights to do so.

Fair enough I guess, but the section where I sit has a small bar that only sells the stuff. Maybe some variety then.

There were delicious cheese batches (cobs/rolls) in the Witton Lane yesterday. I hope this will be a regular thing although it may have had something to do with the 90s retro stuff.

As we are suddenly talking about the catering, the kiosk I went to in the Lower Holte had run out of Curlywurlies an hour before kick out.

Good job I only wanted a cup of tea.

For the Brentford game in the Trinity they only had Cadbury’s Caramel, they’re decent, head and shoulders above Curly Wurly but still no choice. Sort it out Villa!!
