According to Talksport we are still actively looking to sell him. If that's  true he's seriously pissed off the hierarchy.

I'd be happier for him to go than stay now.  I only want players here that want to play for the Villa - and that includes Rogers, Watkins, the lot.

We can’t sell him without replacing him.

The destination was the biggest problem for me - if he had disappeared to Saudi in June, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad.

Reckon he’s gonna stay with his tail between his legs.

Reckon he's a wanker who needs to get his head sorted because if he costs us goals he's going to cop dogs abuse. ManUre ******.

Why would we sell him for 25 mill he’s still the best we’re going to get by a long way
goalkeepers are so important and we’ve got a world class one anyone else will be a downgrade at this stage

put emotions on one side and do what’s best for the team, unless he’s seriously burnt his bridges with the management team and players it’s a no brainer for me to keep hold of him

Let's imagine if a player who was idolised like few before or since was about to sign for our hated rivals but failed a medical. I'm sure he'd be ostracised and reviled from then on, wouldn't he?

Indeed Dave….but Emi is no Brian

I could still see Chelsea styling in at the last minute for him…spend the money they’ll get from Fulham for George

We are not selling without replacing. Unless we are talking a nuclear falling out at Villa

Think it's someone rehashing the news from Aug. 2024 i.e. that he'd signed a contract till 2029.

I literally cannot get the image of him and his Wife, sat in a car tonight, “discussing” this with lots of awkward silences and pointed remarks aimed in his direction.
