Martinez has been played like a bitch by united

No sympathy  whatsoever for him

An opportunity to make your kids rich for life so they don’t have to worry about living in a council house or scraping by on a couple of grand a month like many people have to. Don’t be so fucking shortsighted. Football is a short career and is paid well because of this. I think people need to remember the five years or so of absolute quality we’ve had from Martinez and whether he goes or stays even to that barrel of fuck fest up north we need to be grateful for the time that he was at Villa.

Oh come on it is a short career but how much money do you think he has earnt in his time at Villa 15 -20  million ?

set for life

I dont begrudge earning more he has been fantastic for us .  But how we get to the day before the end of the Transfer window and he now wants to jump ship does not sit well

Someone has cocked up well and truly

What a load of shite. We've made his career and made him incredibly rich. He's waited until the most damaging possible time to reward us by trying to fuck us over and bully the club into selling him on the cheap.

Fuck him, the absolute traitorous piece of shit.

Like his kids aren't rich for life already.

You know exactly what I mean.
His kids aren't rich already?

All this "rich enough so your kids don't ever have to work" - what the fuck else are they going to do for 50 years? Have mental breakdowns on Tiktok while looking for a purpose in life? Don't give any of your footballing millions to your sprogs, it'll be much better for them.

You don't bring in Mendes as your agent if you plan to stay at your club for a few years.

Martinez is in a pickle now.

Plenty of Twatter stuff saying that he's still leaving.

Jacob Tanswell - the Villa correspondent for The Atheletic:

It was an open secret around the training ground that he (Emi Martínez) thought he was going to leave & informed several people he wanted to.

And this from a journo who covers South Americans playing in Europe:

: Whatever happens, Emi Martínez will leave Aston Villa. Something ‘broke’ at the end of last season between the club & the player.

Yeh,
Hes gonna be persoa non grata at Villa.

Emerson (Citeh) to Fenerbache
Donnnaruma (PSG) to Citeh

Who else needs a "top" keeper?

One of the Saudi sides?

They'll pay over the odds, which will be good for us.

But we still need a keeper.

The bloke from Porto would be good -  but can we do a deal?

Imagine he stays & we just miss out on CL qualification like last season.  That’ll be 2 years his knobbish behaviour costs us given yesterday’s debacle, Palace or not.

I find the notion that 'something "broke"' between Martinez and Villa a bit weird, given he did play against Brentford and would've played yesterday but for all this.

As I said there will be an Instagram post whatever happens, if he goes I expect "Promises broken" to appear somewhere!
That does seem to be the theme of the summer.

If we can afford to pay what it takes to get Costa then we should. Sell Emi to the Arabs. Could come out of this in better shape than before  8)

He stops the second? I don't think he does, or anyone else.

Very good chance and probably unstoppable but it depends if the keeper is on his line or on the edge of the 6 yard box for some reason. The former and could be a finger tip save of the season. The latter and he watches it sail over his head and in with no chance of getting it.

Can you get to the Champions League on 35 0-0 draws?

@villareport constantly quotes Footy Insider, Ben Jacobs and Romano. I’d take anything coming from that link with a pinch of salt. And loves to put up the Here We Go Romano bollocks.

It's an aggregator. I think (most) people understand how that works.
