It's a complex thing and he should be given the opportunity to either clear his name (if he wasn't involved), or give some very strong mitigating circumstances (if he was).

But yeah, in my mind that kind of offence is very much in the "get the fuck out of our club" territory.  Hopefully there's nothing in it.

Does he even need to clear his name at this point? As far as I can see he's just sat on a bus making 4-2 gestures whilst some players sing racist things. The club probably need to privately have a word with him about it and get his take on things, but I think there needs to evidence that specifically Emi Martinez was singing specifically racist songs before any significant action is taken.

Nah, he's definitely on the bus. He's clapping and singing, but what I can't tell is if he's singing along to the racist song or if it's something else.

Pretty sure it's him on the left edge of the screen on the Fofana-linked video, clapping happily along. But it's not clear (for my level of Spanish) that anything offensive is actually being said at that point.

There's an awful lot of smoke though, even if there is no visible fire.

Not at all.
And this isnt a one of ours vs one of theirs type soundbite.
However I can draw a difference between someone using a clearly derogoratory term to describe a black player and some inconclusive footage of someone clapping whilst others sing a xenophobic song.
