Those double saves from Haaland truly world class stops.

Proper World Cup winner performance tonight. I thought he was outstanding in his game management, savings, handling and anticipation in getting the ball, and determination in winning. Emi had a bloody eye from an unfortunate kick to the face from Cash but was leading the encouragement of the holte to roar us to victory!Hero tonight.

Genuinely wouldn't swap him for any other keeper in the world.

He's a leader and a winner.

The intangible traits like his leadership is as important as his tangible traits of just being fucking immense. No other keeper anywhere comes close. And what’s more he loves the club and wants so much to achieve his domestic club dreams with us.

If there's a better 'keeper in the world right now, I've yet to see him.

It's not just his shot-stopping, distribution, and technical ease on the ball.

It's his sheer, balls-to-the-wall arrogance and dominance of his area. You can't train a player to have that, it's innate. He's priceless.

He was winding the Arsenal fans a treat after the final whistle, waving and clapping to the them.

Agreed. Plus he's a bit mad which I absolutely love.

He's a big part of the mentality change at the club. He's come in and said '"Enough! We're a big club and we're going to achieve something NOW!"

Thought Havertz should have gone for his challenge on Martinez as he should already have been booked for blatant shirt pull and foul on Tielemans.
Moreno had to restrain Emi!
But rightfully aggrieved after poor play by a frustrated Havertz.

Might be in a minority, but thought his save from Odegaard was great, and better than his Haaland saves on Wednesday.

He was ten yards from goal and put it hard, low and towards the corner- that the keeper is brilliant enough to preempt where he's going to go and hold onto it as well is all on the keeper, not the attacker who has "put it straight at him".

Great work Emi.

If Arsenal have him in goal they win the league, I truly believe that. Got to laugh - normally you’d go “well he just proved it elsewhere since he left”, but at the point they sold him to us he had shown in his short run of games what he’s about. Obviously I’m delighted, and it’s brilliant for us, but what a massive fuck up from them. Well done Mikel!

Did he wave at the Tarquins at the end and then kiss the Villa badge?
