Brilliant words from Martinez. And with Emi you know he means it.I've always thought he should be captain.
There was some concern that playing out from the back was not his strongest strength

A winner. World Class Number one in the world. He has an aura when players come one-on-one and they are obviously intimidating by his presence he's totally world class at that however I don't think he's world class at distribution even though he has had some excellent passing out moment sometimes it could be better.I think that's fair.
To be fair, I don't think Martinez is the best with the ball at his feet. He's getting better and I wouldn't have any other keeper, but there are times when he hits it longer that it isn't as good as it could be.

He's got loads better in terms of his touch and shorter range passing, and I think half the battle with this type of play is having a keeper that actually looks convincing with the ball at his feet and Emi does. Robin, in contrast, does not.
