The Arse fans were ripping the piss out of him for 5 minutes solid after the final whistle. He’s been a nightmare the last 3 games.

How? Again, what was his fault? Again, against City he kept it down to double figures.

To me it's clearly instructions from the bench. We pretty much accepted the point when it got to 2-2 given we only had two serious attacks for the next half hour.

He was far worse away to Brighton feigning injury and all that yet not much was said.

We will certainly miss him when he's gone given what else we've had in goal in last decade.

Can agree on that.
But was another needless yellow card.

His kicking today was poor as well.
Just looks like he want to be somewhere else since the WC.
He will be gone in the summer. And I wouldn't blame him. He is at the top of his game

I hate how even our own fans say how fickle we can be at times. Fuck all fickle having most debating a month ago if he's the best keeper they've ever seen play for us and now saying he's crap and embarrassing.
I, for one, never said he was the best keeper we have ever had not by a long way.

To be fair I don't think this is a Villa thing. Probably more an internet thing.

Either way your reaction is well over the top.

Probably why I said "most were debating if he was" rather than "everyone was saying he was".

Against city other than conceding 3 he made 2/3 reasonable saves, the sort that any good keeper should make. Let’s not revise that to preventing double digit scoreline.

Normally I would have smiled at that comment Monty but not just now. Sitting in car still hurting and  trying to sum up the strength to drive home from VP😥

Martinez needs to realise that saving couple of pens from very nervous takers in a final doesn’t make you a good keeper. He has been terrible recently. Crap at his main job and embarrassing with his other antics.

Agreed, mate. I'm sick to death of his recent performances

The time wasting gets on my tits buts he’s been okay other than that.  Two freak goals today were hardly his fault.

Sorry for the final goal, which was obviously his fault because he decided to be up for a corner and was miles away from the goal.
11 goals conceded in three games.

Digne didn't even look to play the set piece near him, and I'm sure some of the other players weren't thrilled with him being up there for the corner.
Ego got the better of him

Without wishing to be unkind Footy, that’s just utter bollocks.
No no you strongly disagree thats fair but I just don't see Martinelli scoring that goal if Martinez was actually in goal for our last minute corner.
Wrong.
I knew it!
And Emery has now publicly called out Martinez . Calling it silly mistakes
Unai said he has never asked a goal keeper to go up for corner .never!
He said he doesn't know the exact data of likelihood of goalkeper scoring from a corner but saying he doesn't want  a keeper doing that. Its not Emery way and players must learn his ways.
Called out!
Shocking behaviour by Martinez.
