Martinez needs to realise that saving couple of pens from very nervous takers in a final doesn’t make you a good keeper. He has been terrible recently. Crap at his main job and embarrassing with his other antics.

Agreed, mate. I'm sick to death of his recent performances

The time wasting gets on my tits buts he’s been okay other than that.  Two freak goals today were hardly his fault.

He kept it to single figures against Man City, not at fault for any goals today, still has somewhat ropey distribution but is probably the best keeper taking a cross under pressure I've ever seen, and he does that so much we hardly even notice anymore. I really, really, really don't want to bring out the F word but, complaints about his shithousing aside, turning on Martinez would be about the most dumb, bratty, spoiled fan-bullshit imaginable.

Sorry for the final goal, which was obviously his fault because he decided to be up for a corner and was miles away from the goal.
11 goals conceded in three games.

Digne didn't even look to play the set piece near him, and I'm sure some of the other players weren't thrilled with him being up there for the corner.

Yes he was for the final goal! That doesn’t happen if he stayed in goal rather than go up for the corner. No way can that goal occur
So thats on Martinez.

Every keeper in the entire world goes up for that. Not their fault if the corner's terrible.

No no you strongly disagree thats fair but I just don't see Martinelli scoring that goal if Martinez was actually in goal for our last minute corner.

I hate how even our own fans say how fickle we can be at times. Fuck all fickle having most debating a month ago if he's the best keeper they've ever seen play for us and now saying he's crap and embarrassing.

He blows hot and cold for me.  Some games he makes great saves. Others he is pretty ropey.
Yes he is miles better than our number two but best keeper in the world my arse.
I thought his antics at the World Cup were pure cringe playing for a team oozing with cheats.
If someone comes in with decent money we should bite their hand off.

Well I don't know why the set piece was not more directed to him and actually any of our players.  If only because can't afford to lose the ball when the keeper is way out of his nets.

Correct, but I’m not sure the keeper just goes rogue when he comes up for the corner. It’s probably a management/team decision that when you’ve gone beyond the allotted injury time you may as well chuck a body into the box. You don’t then blame the keeper if the other team happen to break away.
