There's more chance of me starting against Man City today than Olsen.

Who was in goal last game of season at Man City? So he's played there more than you! Though maybe you have played there I don't know! I was only saying. 
Anyway that just more speculation than think he'll actually start as Martinez is better but if there's any issue after the comments or that in training there was a rift then Olsen is number 2.

One of the plus points we've got at the moment is that we can point to Martinez when trying to sign other world class players. When Martinez is insinuating that we're not advanced enough for him, and issues a thinly-veiled "come and get me" statement, it doesn't scream of an ambitious club.

Agreed, but at the same time where was Martinez in his career-path before we brought him,, and what did he win when he was a Villa player?
These are marketable factors when looking to bring in new players, but it does require a top-level Sporting Director and much more forward-planning re player-acquisition than appears to be the case currently.

If he wants to go and anyone else for that matter I’ll thank him and wish him well but we’ll move on. We won’t get a replacement as good as him but I’d like to think another area of the team will be vastly improved instead.

Since Martinez won the World Cup, I've also had a sneaking suspicion he will want Champions league football level and that's now been confirmed.
Put all those issues together and there's only one outcome.
