Reporter “Emi, good point for Aston Villa given the circumstances?”

Emi “No not really”

Love the guy and what he stands for

I wouldn’t change him for any keeper in world football. He’s bloody brilliant.

he's so good with his feet, I might try Heaton next game and move Emi to midfield

He's so good I think I'd play with just three defenders and use the extra man in midfield!

Apart from the West Ham game.

He is the best keeper I’ve seen for us for 20 years.

Let’s not get carried away though.

There wasn’t all the cameras and TV coverage of Rimmer, Spinks and Bosnich.

But he is the easily the best keeper in the PL. at the moment

Yup. Best since Jimmy Rimmer. I almost feel sorry for opposition attackers, you finally find a way through our defence and there is this man-mountain of a keeper sitting behind them. He certainly saved us (again) tonight.

Just immense. We have a very good defence with a world class keeper behind them. A few tweaks in midfield and we have a very good team on our hands. Cannot believe Arsenal sold us this guy.

He is a tremendous keeper and purchase (£20m is looking a real bargain). If we are to be successful in terms of trophies in the coming years he is going to be crucial to our team. He has ability, a tremendous attitude and great leadership qualities. Keep up the good work Emi!
