He is a bit of a pretty boy isn't he? All of the pictures of him I have seen online suggest he is a male model as opposed to a footballer.

After Watkins' reverse striptease video, nothing would surprise me about our motivation for signings.

I can't see us spending tens of millions (including salary) on a goalkeeper when we have dozens of them and more urgent positions to fill.

So is Nyland. Fat lot of good its done him. Or he may have a bevvy of Brummie birds queueing up for him at the Mailbox.

We've always had a history of chiselled, Fabio-esque goalkeepers. Look at Nigel Spink.

David James was a model for Armani he was the best example and factually accurate account.

I think Spurs' Ian Walker fancied himself as a model back in the day too.

I can't think of Ian Walker without instantly thinking about that fat mess waddling upto him at Leicester.

I was in the same boat, but Martinez looks like he's a higher bracket player - perhaps one you'd expect to be playing European football most seasons - and it doesn't seem to be at the expense at the really critical improvements to the squad (striker, winger, maybe central midfielder). When that type of player comes along at the right price, we should definitely be in for them. Same with Matty Cash - think he'll look an absolute bargain in a couple of years time.

The only possible reason he could possibly choose Brighton is if he doesn’t to move from the London/outer London area.
Hopefully we’ll get him in

He may also like shingle beaches and pastel-coloured taxis.
Brighton it is then :)

That young keeper going to Wolves makes more sense now, we probably couldn't guarantee him gloves.

Only a philistine wouldn't.

Listening to Sol Campbell sounding gutted about Martinez leaving Arsenal.

Not sure about this but, who is the Brentford goalie Arsenal are reputedly interested in?  I don't think it was the one that played against SHA today.  As I say, not sure.
