Mad how when you criticise his lack of goals, it's "but he has a million assists" and when he doesn't contribute either a goal or an assist its "he had no service".

I've never known a player to have so many excuses made for them.

If he's a top player as people seem to think he is, he needs to be criticised at that level. And a game like today is where he should be making the difference.

He's not a creator, never has been. You don't think he's Zola do you? His assists have come from a simple pass, a deflected cross or nod back not a grass cutting through ball or 70 yard ping on a six pence. Irrelevant of his assist numbers it's not his game.
