Getting 20 goals might be a bet, won't bother with overall goal scorer though.

I fancy him for 20 PL goals this year. I think the euros played with his head last year (and because of them he wasn't remotely fit at the start of the season).

He looks bang on it this year and I think he has a point to prove. He'll miss a few sitters (as does every striker) but will bang in some amazing goals too so it's all good

Did he play in any pre-season games last year? Also he had Duran hanging over him and knowing he was going off on 65 mins no matter what he did. TBH we won't know for sure until the real football occurs but he is definitely looking good. He might even impress Smirker this season.

A long break has probably done him the world of good.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on given he's apparently open to moving this summer. I'm sure he's not going anywhere, but an interesting mindset for a player to be in. Could be a positive, I suppose. He's not going to be sulking that he's still here, but maybe it takes pressure off, if you're not 100% emotionally committed to a team?

We're into the kind of territory where losing him now would be a big problem and I hope that our valuation of him considerably goes up the closer to the start of the season we get.  Same with any other other main players Martinez included.

I'm one of his biggest critics purely on his finishing, but there is no chance we could even consider selling now. He's not been properly fit for over 12 months so if he now is, I reckon he'll hit 20 this season.

A bit of noise online that the new guy paves the way for his exit

It's just noise, nothing to see here.

Where would he go at this point? Newcastle?

Why would a player who's been a 10 or a winger be replacing him. Makes zero sense. If we were buying a Ramos from PSG or Jackson I would think it's Ollie going, but Guessand just doesn't give that vibe.

Given the calibre of clubs looking for a decent striker I do fear he could go. Newcastle are a final option for a big pay day but Man U, Liverpool etc are another matter. Losing Jhon D and potentially Ollie as well would be a blow.

They are struggling to get players in for some reason and likely to pay way over the odds (e.g. Elanga) once Isak goes particularly. No way is this the time to consider letting Ollie leave.

So we weather all the stories of Ollie going with nothing from our player or club suggested he will be going. He looks sharp and happy in pre-season and suddenly our own fans now think he is going.

I'm pretty sure he'll stay and once again prove why he is one of the most productive strikers in Europe and that Arsenal were daft not to snap him up when they had the chance.

20 league goals this season.
