If the club feels that he doesn't have parity with the other first teamers, I'm glad they're quick to address the issue. It sends out a strong message to others, inside and outside of the club.

Poor today, very fortunate with that VAR call and does anyone know what he was doing not challenging Mane in the last minute?

Unpopular opinion as I genuinly like him, but I dont think he's any better than Guilbert.

Agreed. I’ve expressed my opinions on him before. I am not accepting from anyone that he unseeded to leave that ball today because he knew he was offside. Personally, I think he continues to be a liability in defence. Another unpopular opinion.

He's not been the same player since his minor lay off with injury. Hopefully just a temporary blip though, I think he's been great this season to be honest.

He has some of the best defensive stats out of all the right backs in the league. He's a warrior, I like him a lot, but agree with Risso re his injury.

I like him alot too, my comment wasn't a dig at him tbf, more that I rated Guilbert aswell and I'm not sure we really needed a replacement.

That another error of his didn't lead to an opposition goal. He was at fault for Konsa's yellow in the first half too.

I think he’s excellent, but prone to errors, mainly because of his whole heartedness and willing to throw himself into the tackle. This is his greatest asset but sometimes his weakness as well, when a mistimed tackle can look rash.
I like Freddie too, but I think Cash’s positional sense and athleticism are better. Also this is cash’s first year in the prem, compare to Targett and Konsas first years last year, and I think Cash’s has been far more impressive and he’s adapted quicker. I also don’t think you can be part of the third best defence in the league and have had a poor or even average season.
Always room for improvement though and will be interesting if we do get a revitalised Guilbert back, how the competition potentially improves both players.

He was really tested yesterday up against an inform Jota and overall I thought he did okay. Yes he got done a couple of times but overall he held his own and has been great this season.

He's absolutely not a liability.

Cash is great - and Guilbert will be adequate back-up for next season; if he's still here.
