I'm not shocked by any of this really. There's a very nasty undercurrent of racism in Britain from my own personal experience. I'm a white, 40 something bloke, some of the things I hear people come out with casually, it's just not nice but tracks very well with the current popularity of the Government and how it's the foreigners' fault and it was better when you could call a spade a spade.
