I’ve been a critic of his but in a poor season so far, for me he’s been one who’s improved.

He needs to be used properly. I think playing with or just slightly ahead of Kamara he'll be excellent.

Just needs to be played at 8 once Kamara is back, and push JJ forward.

Good news however you look at it.

Pretty good of him to sign.

Good news from a player who has acted with total professionalism towards the Villa in his time at the club despite being played out of position for much of that time.
Now all it needs is for him to be played in his correct position by our next manager.

Agreed, during a time when there isint a lot to say positively about our performances this is a win win surely.

Be lovely if he scores the winner on Sunday while that twat watches from the Chelsea bench.

I don't rate Potter as highly as some here but that's a bit harsh. :(

I'm leaning toward such feelings.

Bland.

Bu then pushed further forward (as in the Man City game last season), I think he looks decent.

Hurrah! One half of the best-looking football couple in the world commits to his villa on er, Love Island. Seriously, you should watch the Mr & Mrs segment that he and Alisha Lehmann did for Pravda recently. It would restore your faith in love across boundaries.

And if Arsenal come back in for him in June we can charge £45m instead of £25m.
