Can’t you just be happy you fucking morons! Welcome Douglas. This is the most excited I’ve been over a player since I last shit my pants. The buy back clause doesn’t worry me. He is just the player we need at the moment and if Citeh do want him back hopefully we will make them pay top dollar. I trust this current set up to have a decent clause inserted.I dunno. If it's a work permit fudge then I doubt City will have been prepared to build in a big uplift. It won't be less than £15m. I suspect it won't be a huge amount more either. If it goes well it will have been a cheap loan of what could be a very important player for us. If he plays well and helps us stay up, it will have been well worth it.

Yep. It is double money and a few more for good luck.
Quote from: Colhint on July 25, 2019, 06:27:01 PMI don't know, but If a player has a WP for the uk then that's it. He has a WP. Is there any case where has one for one club, but couldn't sign for another one in the same league?I dont understand the work permit machinations but there is a huge uplift on the buy back for us regardless.

Ok for the terminally thick - namely meWe have bought him off man city (so we own him) for £15m directly. If he turns out to be brilliant Man city canA/ just say we want him now and pay the £15m we paid and he goesB/ As A but with an alternate higher fee already agreedC/ Other teams can try to buy him but Man city have first refusal.D/ If he is not what we expect he is ours and Man city can refuse to take him.Any of that right?

Quote from: TonyD on July 25, 2019, 11:07:26 PMWhat type of player is he?Defensive midfielder, very comfortable on the ball, likes to find space and pick out a pass.
What type of player is he?
Er - we don't 'own' him...!
Quote from: Monty on July 26, 2019, 11:38:34 AMEr - we don't 'own' him...! I thought we paid a transfer fee, no mention of loan fee, so surely he is our player?

I guess it is standard, but, well, blimey, should it be?
