I like the fact they act quickly on some of this stuff, no pissing about, this isn’t right, we’ll fix it. It’s what people with serious money do.

Let's hope that they have some kind of alternative - I'm sure they will have. The management team needs a refresh ... and, looking at the transfer activities of Bournemouth, Brighton and Palace, you'd hope we can improve in that area.

They won’t rewards failure. The question is what objectives was Monchi set, we know they want the club to be self-sustainable which means profit on transfers. Feels like the Ramsey move is the destabilising factor?

I would have hoped they would have acted before we got into this mess.

Deadline day I said if NSWE are still interested Monchi will get fired pretty quickly after the summer debacle and the stalling of all momentum. Evidently they are. It's good news

It might be, but there’s no way to know that yet.

they've pumped cash in - their problem is we don't make enough money from other sources

No previous club, short of his first stint in Seville, has come out better after a dose of the Monchis. We need a reset on how we scout and target players to increase revenue. So many own goals in the last 18 months from him, it's a good thing.

It might be if Unai is on board with it.

None of us would have said we were in a mess in the summer so I’m not sure that’s fair.

None of us would have said we were in a mess in the summer so I’m not sure that’s fair.
To be fair, there were a few dissenting voices who thought our recruitment was lazy and there was a chance we would start to look stale, and there were concerns over the morale at the club following the social media comments from certain players.

I think ‘player power’ might be a huge part of where we are now and I’m not sure how healthy that is.

It’s going to be an interesting few days though, that’s for sure.
