Agree on the team earlier but would go with Delph ahead of Nzogbia.

Dont think there is much between Lichaj and Lowton for the right back slot but Lambert will give Lowton more time to settle in

Would like to see Herd break forward from midfield more. He has a great leap on him and could add some scoring threat I feel. Too often there is only Bent to cross it in to.

I think only Bennett of the new signings will start. I'd keep baker ahead of Clark. Then I think I'd go: Holman, delph, kea, Ireland. And against my better judgement n'zogbia supporting bent, tho is consider weimann

Can't see why N'zogbia should get anywhere near the team, Matt so your better judgement should prevail!  I also think he'll start with a couple more of the new blokes - Benteke especially.

I don't think benteke and the guy from Crewe were signed in time to play. I think that needed to have happened by noon Friday

I agree n'zogbia doesn't deserve to start. The alternative is weimann I guess, although we could play one up.

Cautiously optimistic 1-1 draw.

Continuing our slow and steady progress to half decent football (still light years ahead of TSM dross).

Baker and Ron in the centre, lets test the pairing and guzan to start

He'll go with the following, the only change may be Herd for Delph

Given

Lowton
Bennett
Clarke
Vlaar

Ireland
El Ahmedi
Holman
Delph
Nzogbia

Bent

Nah, I think Given and N'Zogbia are out. He doesn't countenance cock-ups. I agree he'll persist with the 'Vlaarke' partnership.

Guzan

Lowton
Vlaar
Clark
Bennett

El Ahmadi
Delph

Holman
Ireland
Weimann

Bent

Hopefully we'll sneak a draw, but I can't see it. I'd love to rub that bastard Pardew's nose in it.

i've voted for the Draw, but i could make a case for all all 3 results being possible,
and have had a few quid on the win with betfair at 6/1 to good odds to turn down,  with Lamberts attitude to away games, it just needs to click and you never know

I've voted for a draw, more from blind optimism than belief.  Deep down I think we'll lose...I'm not expecting points on the board until southampton if I'm honest.

I would go with that with the exception of Baker for Clarke.

Ah right, didn't know, thanks.

One up top with an extra man in midfield would be better than fielding Nzogbia.  We need to try and keep the ball as much as possible tomorrow and CNZ doesn't ever seem to do that.  If we are to play 2 strikers then as you say, step forward Mr Weimann.

I've a horrible feeling we'll get battered.  If we get away with a draw, I'd be happy.
